At Chabad Hebrew School, we use the Aleph Champ learning system — a structured, motivating program designed to meet each child at their own level and help them progress with confidence.

Aleph Champ Levels

  • White Aleph Champ – Master the first 18 letters of the Aleph Bet
  • Red Aleph Champ – Master all 32 letters of the Aleph Bet
  • Orange Aleph Champ – Master the first 3 vowels with letter combinations
  • Yellow Aleph Champ – Master the first 6 vowels with letter combinations
  • Green Aleph Champ – Master the first 9 vowels with letter combinations
  • Blue Aleph Champ – Master all vowels and exceptions to the rules
  • Purple Aleph Champ – Master reading familiar prayers and brachot
  • Brown Aleph Champ – Master reading important tefillot
  • Grey Aleph Champ – Master reading from the Siddur with speed and accuracy
  • Black Aleph Champ – Master reading over 100 words per minute
